Despite not having a confirmed date or venue, the heavyweight clash between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will have its promotion begin on Monday, 24th September 2018 in London.
Boxing promoter, Frank Warren has disclosed that the west coast of the United States is most likely the venue for the bout.
Both Wilder and Fury agreed to the fight last month, August and suggested it will hold in November or December, with Deontay Wilder defending his WBC heavyweight title.
The promotion for the bout will begin with a press conference scheduled for Monday, 24th as Deontay Wilder is set to be in London by then, the promotion tour will then head to New York and Los Angeles.
The reason for the undecided venue for the bout is based on money, it is about who will pay more money and the issue of judges; certain venues like to appoint all the officials, a vivid example is Las Vegas.
Frank Warren wants the officials agreed by both parties and they should be as neutral as possible.
Both Fury and Wilder are unbeaten in their careers thus far and whoever emerges the winner, will challenge Anthony Joshua for a unification of the heavyweight division, should Joshua defeat Povetkin this weekend.
