Ogun State Government has suspended the Commssioner for Environment, Abiodun Abudu-Balogun following the recent scandal of attempting to rape a 16-year-old girl.
In a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Governor, Tokunbo Talabi, the suspension will allow for thorough investigation into the matter surrounding the accused commissioner who has vehemently denied the allegations against him.
The girl was caught on camera relaying the incident that the Commissioner attempted to have carnal knowledge of her but was unsuccessful as she drew so much attention by screaming.
According to the statement, the government will do all possible to ensure that justice is served to the young lady who identified herself as Melojuekun Barakat Mayowa
