Following the adoption of its consensus candidate for the National Chairmanship position of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, North-Central leaders of the party have distributed its two remaining executive positions.
The leader of the party in the zone, Governor Samuel Ortom, disclosed that the position of the Legal Adviser has been zoned to Kwara State while that for Deputy National Auditor will be taken by the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The PDP North-Central leaders returned to the Benue lodge ecstatic that their candidate for National Chairman is unanimously adopted by leaders of the party in the entire northern region.
After their closed-door session, they returned with the decision on which part takes the remaining two executive positions.
The PDP National Chairman nominee, Iyorchia Ayu, gave an insight into how he would run when he takes over the mantle of leadership of the country’s main opposition party.
Ayu is optimistic about a more formidable party under his leadership.
