NLC to partner with MINILS to train workers on abuse of labour laws

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, is seeking collaboration with the Michael Imodu National Institute of Labour Studies, MINILS, on research and documentation as well as training of workers on fragrant abuse of labour laws.

The NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, made this known in Abuja when he received in the audience the chairman of MINILS, Frank Kokori, and Director General, Issah Aremu.

Wabba stressed the need for the institute to include studies on recommendations and Conventions of the International Labour Organisation in their lecture modules.

Veteran labour leader and Chairman, MINILS, Kokori and Issah Aremu, the new Director-General of the institute agreed to work with the NLC to increase the capacity of the working population.

The Michael Imodu National Institute of Labour Studies is the premier labour study centre in Nigeria.
