Nigerian Customs intercept smuggled goods in Taraba and Adamawa States

The Nigerian Customs Service has called for synergy among security agencies aimed at combating smuggling

The Customs Adamawa and Taraba states command spoke to newsmen in Yola the Adamawa state capital saying several banned items including Petroleum products, elephant tusks and others being smuggled, have been intercepted by the command.

The Comptroller of the command which is in charge of Adamawa and Taraba states Kamardeen Olumoh says the command has stepped up its anti-smuggling war and is determined to rid the area of operation of smugglers.
