Thai officials rescued six baby elephants trapped in a muddy pond on Thursday (March 28), after they were found stuck and unable to get out on their own.

Pictures show Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) officials digging a slope into a muddy pond in Thap Lan National Park, about 160km (100 miles) from Bangkok.
