Christina Langford was one of the nine of the Mexican family that was shot dead a few days ago however she was able to save her seven-month-old baby’s life whom she stashed in a car seat when the massacre ensued.
The baby, now identified as faith was found unharmed 8 hours after when security operatives and family arrived at the scene for inspection. Her mother allegedly stepped out of the vehicle waving her arms to show she wasn’t a threat and an attempt to serve as a decoy to draw their attention away from baby Faith.
Asides Faith, five other children were seriously injured and were able to escape the massacre by hiding in a nearby bush, Devin, the oldest after watching his mother’s murder covered his siblings with tree branches before returning back to the community to get help. His journey took him close to six hours. The kids were eventually reconnected with family by 7:30 pm. The kids are now receiving intensive medical attention at a nearby hospital in the United States.
The baby Faith and two others who were not injured are currently in care with their families in La Mora.
