Senate President Bukola Saraki has been chosen by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the head of its Presidential Campaign efforts.
Saraki will now lead as the Director-General of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation, as disclosed by the party’s spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan.
The Senate President would be working with six others who would coordinate the six geopolitical zones, these are:
Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal (North-west)
Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi (South-East)
Gombe State Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo (North-east)
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike (South-south)
Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom (North-central)
Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose (South-west)
Senior Lawyer and Former Minister, Kabiru Turaki would handle legal matters, while the Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel would preside over the fund-raising Committee.
