Opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, in Isoko North and South Council Areas of Delta State have collapsed their structures and pledged loyalty to the second term bid of the incumbent Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The decision to support Governor Okowa’s second term bid was made public during his consultation visit to the home of Joe Arausi, a chieftain of APC in Oleh, Isoko South Council Area.

The gathering in the home of Arausi, a former member of the House of Representatives was devoid of party affiliation.

Arausi and Odhegolo, both APC leaders in Isoko North and South, on behalf of their members, declared that the odds are overwhelmingly in favour of Governor Okowa having performed creditably in his first term, coupled with the principle of rotation of governorship in the state.

Both leaders extolled Governor Okowa’s humility in extending his hands of fellowship to opposition parties and the numerous projects executed by his administration in Isoko and beyond.

Governor Okowa had earlier inspected the Effurun- Otor/Ovwor bridge and expressed satisfaction with the quality of work, which he said will impact positively on the lives of the communities.

The people of Ughelli rolled out the drums in praise of the Governor’s developmental strides.
