EFCC encourages people to keep whistle blowing

Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has challenged Nigerians to participate in the 2019 general elections and vote for people that would put the country first.

Zonal Head of Operations North East, Friday Bello, said this during the commemoration of the World Corruption Day in which he highlighted the achievements of the anti-corruption body.

It was a march against corruption as youths marched on the streets to again bring to public attention the plague of corruption in the country.

The agency made a clarion call on Nigerians to champion the cause against corruption and vote people that would consolidate on its achievements.

Meanwhile, the agency said it has achieved some level of success in the northeast region of the country.

While the anti-corruption agency carries on the message on the fight against corruption, the essence of electing credible leaders is paramount if the fight is to be sustained.
