Tottenham Hotspur has been dealt severe injury blows owing to the news of club captain cum goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, being out for several weeks due to a thigh injury while influential midfielder, Dele Alli, is out of action for about two weeks after suffering a hamstring injury while on international duty.

The midfielder, Moussa Sissoko, who adds depth on the bench for Spurs is also unavailable due to a hamstring injury, thereby leaving Spurs depleted for the crunch Liverpool game this weekend and the UEFA Champions League trip to Inter Milan.

South Korea’s Heung Son Min is back at Spurs and will likely be thrust into the thick of things despite playing 8 games in 26 days, as Tottenham will be looking to bounce back from the Watford defeat.

Hugo Lloris who pleaded guilty to a drink-driving charge – fined £50,000 and banned from driving for 20 months will retain the captaincy despite his misdemeanour, with coach Mauricio Pochettino’s backing.
