Godswill Akpabio, the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, dropped a notable bombshell during his testimony at the public hearing while defending the forensic audit allegedly carried out on the Niger Delta Development Commission.

In his testimony, Akpabio alleged that members of the National Assembly are the greatest beneficiaries from the NDDC and he has records to back up his claims. He was visibly hushed by the panel who did not allow him complete his pronouncements.

Akpabio said in quote ” Most of the contract of the NDDC are awarded to members of the National Assembly.” A fact he said he did not know about until he joined the NDDC, despite being a member of the National Assembly during the 8th Assembly. He also disclosed that 90% of the resources of the country comes from.

The panelists kept trying to hush the minister and a colleague from divulging or asking questions along that line before more information beyond reasonable incriminating damage was done
