The Miyetti Allah association have vowed to exercise their rights as citizens of Nigeria and claim that any plans to be evicted from the South-West of Nigeria will be met with hard resistance.
The National Secretary of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhassan Saleh disclosed this in an interview with The Punch Newspaper and vowed to avenge the deaths of the herdsmen and cattle that were lost and would not tolerate any act of injustice.
Recall that several calls have been made from several parts of the country, more recently the south-west over the security threats the herdsmen have been in the host communities they find themselves. Farmers have complained bitterly of how their farmlands have been ravaged by cattle.
Also, as a lasting solution, the Kano State Governor, Alh. Ganduje disclosed last week that plans were in progress to recall all nomads from the South. Read more about it here.
