Lagos Free Zone to attract $5 billion in 5 years

The Lagos Free Zone is set to attract an additional $5 billion within the next four years. According to the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, this in line to make Lagos the epicentre of investment and trade over the next few years.

The Free Trade Zone which was established in 2012 has already taken up $2 billion in terms of investment and hopes to simplify the entry and operations of foreign investors in Nigeria.

The governor commended the Tolaram Group’s effort and also recognized their efforts in creating opportunities for young Nigerians in terms of employment. He disclosed that the Free Trade Zone is set to become a key driver for the state’s economy.
