Kenya debuts 5G Technology

Nokia and Safaricom have launched the Huawei 5G Single Radio Access Network and FastMile Gateways in Kenya to all Safaricom customers across the Western Province of Kenya.

The 5G technology is expected to boost research and the application of virtual and augumented reality as well as other fields of artificial intelligence.

The limitless possiblilities were showcased at the launch event in the capital and Nokia’s AirScale platform is expected to provide low-latency, scalability, high availability and high speeds for intending users.
