The Katsina State chapter of the major opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has lost its spokesman, Bishir Tsanni, to the cold hands of death.
Confirming the sad incident to reporters, the Chairman of the party, Salisu Majigiri, said Tsanni died after a brief illness that lasted four days.
According to him, he was first admitted at the Katsina General hospital from where he was transferred to the Federal Medical Centre Katsina, where he gave up the ghost on August 1.
He confirmed that the former party’s image maker will be buried at his hometown in Tsanni of Batagarwa Local Government Area of the state according to Islamic rites on August 2.
Until his death, Bishir Tsanni was a former Chairman of Batagarwa Local Government Area and recently, the PDP’s public relations officer.
He died at the age of 52.
