The Committee set up by the Kano State House of Assembly to investigate the authenticity of a video clip allegedly showing Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje receiving a bribe, has summoned the Editor-in-Chief of Daily Nigerian, Ja’afar Ja’afar, to make an appearance.
Daily Nigerian is an online Newspaper that published the controversial video clip.
The Comiittee’s Secretary, Mujtafa Aminu, said the committee had in a letter dated Oct. 19, 2018 requested Ja’afar to appear before the committee on Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Assembly’s Complex.
He said adequate security had been provided for the safety of the Journalist as he was expected to answer questions on the publication and the video clips released by his online newspaper.
