Eid prayers were observed in Kano with some level of adherence to the social distancing protocol.
The two Raka’at prayers were led at the Kofar Mata Eid ground by the Chief Imam of Kano, Professor Sani Zahraddeen.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, also attended the prayers.
The Eid prayers were similarly held at the four new emirates of Kano State.
