Both Twitter and Facebook CEOs are currently facing United States lawmakers today over the spread or lack of an article’s visibility published in the NY Post about Hunter Biden.
According to news close to the sources, Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, plans to tell those lawmakers that indeed the time has come for Internet Law.
Dorsey is proposing that the lawmakers should work with both the technology industry and civil societies to address concerns about the part of the law that shields internet companies from user-generated content or create a new legislative framework.
He maintained that completely eliminating Section 230 will not eliminate Section 230 or comply with the First Amendment hence the need for a new legislative framework.
Lawmakers invited them both on the grounds of bias that the propagation of the NY Post article was blanketed by the social media giants.
