Iranian Minister has vowed that the country will retaliate over the attack on an underground nuclear site against Israel. The attack which officials termed ‘nuclear terrorism’ completely destroyed the independent internal power system of the Natanz uranium enrichment plant.
According to reports from the New York Times, it could last another 9 months for uranium enrichment to resume at the site.
Israel has, however, not released any statement concerning the recent incident or claimed responsibility.
Meanwhile, Iran and the United States are still in talks of resuming the Nuclear Deal agreement after the former US President, Donald Trump rescinded the agreement.
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Mohammed Javad Zarif believes this is an attempt to deter the level of progress that has been achieved thus far in lifting the sanctions imposed on it by Israel.
