Actor Irrfan Khan has passed away at the age of 53. He was popularly known internationally for his roles in Slumdog Millionaire, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-Man and the adventure fantasy Life of Pi.
Khan passed away on Wednesday 29th April 2020 after being admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital with a colon infection. A statement by the actor’s team reads that Irrfan was a strong person who fought until the very end who always inspires everyone.
Bollywood stars and politicians have paid their last respect to the actor on social media. Khan acted in Slumdog Millionaire, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-Man and the adventure fantasy Life of Pi. Notable of them all was that of one of his closest friend, Shah Rukh Khan who wrote the following in loving memory of his dear friend
