While proffering solutions on how to address the menace, they alleged that some of the military men who are supposed to clamp down on those involved in illegal refining of crude oil are now hobnobbing with them.
They also suggested that if the establishment of modular refineries is to go by, it will go a long way to reduce the environmental pollution and degradation in the region.
According to them, the people in the Niger Delta region are sitting on a keg of gun powder that will explode soon If nothing was done in good time.
