Ramon Abbas, popularly referred to as Hushpuppi by his fans, who is still facing money laundering and wire fraud charges has been recently linked to a North Korean cyber heist from a Maltese Bank in 2019.
Hushpuppi reportedly worked with Ghaleb Alaumary, a Canadian citizen and helped him move millions of stolen money by hacking ATMs in Pakistan and India.
Hushpuppi was arrested mid last year after an online operation tagged Fox Hunt 2 busted a 13-strong syndicate by police officers in Dubai.
