A farmer in Kenya has discovered a new way to help increase the rate of Egg production from his hen livestock and the way will shock you.
According to Victor Kyalo, prior to this, the chickens were dying but after implementing the new Unifeed he’s been giving them, not only have they become stronger but chicken production has increased with egg yolks becoming yellower and larger.
Victor Kyalo has been feeding his birds with food from a Nairobi company Sanergy which harvests human excreta from toilets in slums and feed it to larvae and this in turn becomes a high quality animal feed.
Sanergy began on their sanitation mission 8 years ago and now provide 2,500 toilets to 100,000 on a daily basis.
