Michael K. Williams, a Hollywood actor was found dead in his apartment in New York City yesterday leaving his close friends and family in shock. The Brooklyn-born actor’s death is currently under investigation by the NYPD on grounds of a possible drug overdose.
Williams, 54, was in the running for an Emmy for his role in the HBO show Lovecraft Country had attested to struggling with drug addiction in times past.

Williams has featured in many blockbusters over the course of his lengthy career such as The Wire, When They See Us, The Night Of, Broadwalk Empire, 12 Years a Slave, Ghostbusters, and Inherent Vice.
His talent will be missed by all for many years to come.
