Prince Harry and Meghan made sure to pay their respects at the September 11 memorial ground during their short visit to New York.
The memorial ground is a chilling reminder of the calamity that befell the United States when the Twin Tower World Trade Center was attacked by terrorists.
The couple is in New York to attend the Global Citizen Live Event on the 25th of September. The event hopes to promote equal access to COVID-19 vaccines.
In accompaniment were New York Governor Kathy Hochul, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, his wife, Chirlane McCray, and their son, Dante de Blasio.
