The remains of the famous Titanic ship, which sunk in 1912 after hitting an iceberg on its first trip from Southhampton in England to New York has been revisited after 14 years.

The ship weighed over 53,000 tons and was 882 feet long was located 370 miles south of Newfoundland in Canada.

According to historian Parks Stephenson and others on the discovery, they found a very shocking discovery on the starboard side of the office quarters which experienced the most deterioration.

In his words, “Captain’s bathtub is a favourite image among the Titanic enthusiasts, and that’s now gone,” Stephenson said in a statement Wednesday. “That whole deck hole on that side is collapsing taking with it the staterooms, and the deterioration is going to continue advancing.”
