Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, has promised that the product will bounce back from the recent privacy scandal. Zuckerberg, who spoke at the recent Facebook annual conference, made commitments to making Facebook safer for its users worldwide.

He spent the last two months cleaning up after the breach of privacy rights involving the Cambridge Analytica. In his public address to over 5000 developers, Zuckerberg laid out a 10-year roadmap for the software.

He expressed displeasure over how the software had been exploited over the years, and how it has fast become a nightmare, which was not what it was intended to be. The Facebook boss pointed out that building powerful tools was not the end, but ensuring those tools were used for their purpose.
