The humongous shipping container that managed to wedge itself across the Suez Canal has now been unstuck from the stern (rear end) after 18 meters of sand were dug out and 27000 cubic meters were evacuated from the Suez canal.

Currently, the Ever Given has withheld on a daily basis $9.6 billion worth of goods from any kind of movement across the preferred trade route. A total of 367 smaller ships carrying all kinds of goods.

Although experts claim there is still a major leftover of work to be done to ensure that the Suez canal can allow passage of goods like before. Global trade can heave a sigh of relief and not have to worry about the costlier alternative of transporting goods.
