Just a few months ago two of Africa’s biggest artistes, Davido and Wizkid, reconciled on stage during the Wizkid Live in Lagos. This was a historic and emotional moment for their fans, especially as the two stars are believed to have been feuding for a long time.
Fast-forward to months later, in what many thought was a publicity stunt, and this bromance is still growing on fertile grounds.
Wizkid, who wasn’t nominated for the BET award this year but had his industry counterpart Davido nominated, took to his Instagram page to canvass votes for Davido, stating that he deserves it and he put in the work.
What surprised most of Wizkid fans was that his supposed “Bestie” Tiwa Savage was also nominated in the same category as Davido, but he asked them to vote for Davido first before seeking votes for Tiwa Savage, his rumoured love interest, as well.
