Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has joined the list of those sympathetic to the plight of veteran Nollywood actor, Baba Suwe.
Osinbanjo donated the sum of N1 million via the office of the Youth Organising Secretary, APC Lagos state, towards the treatment of Baba Suwe.
The VP also prayed for the ailing actor while making the donation.
“God is to us a God of deliverance; and death has no power over your life. I am positive that his healing hands will restore your health and cast out every form of infirmity in your body,” Osinbajo said.
We earlier reported that several Nollywood actors have responded to the call to raise money for Baba Suwe’s treatment.
Some of them have even taken time out to pay a visit to him, earlier this week, sharing photos of him looking to be in high spirits.
Yomi Fabiyi has also revealed the amount that had been raised for the treatments at the time.
Since news of Baba Suwe’s ailment hit the media, there has been nationwide commiserations for actors and fans alike, both in cash and kind.
