Newly-wedded pop artiste, Simi Adekunle-Gold isn’t taking it cool with ‘Yahoo-Yahoo’ boys. She has warned any of them to stop buying her songs or watching her videos as long as they are into advance fee fraud or cyber crime also known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo.’
Simi, who is married to Adekunle Gold, disclosed this in an Instagram live session on over the weekend.
It happened that a fan challenged her telling her that Yahoo boys were the ones buying her songs on digital platforms and watching her videos on YouTube.
In response, Simi reiterated that if buying her music was a way of rationalising crime, they should not purchase her songs anymore.
She said it was wrong to glorify fraud.
The ‘Tiff’ singer added that Nigerians need to change their mindset about Yahoo boys if we want the world to see us in a different light.
Simi is set to release her third studio album ‘Omo Charlie Champagne’ on April 19.
The release date will coincide with her 31st birthday.
