Shridhar Chillal, an octogenarian from India has finally cut his nails after 66 years.
Since age 14, the 82-year-old had been growing his nails on his left hand, he was inspired to grow his nails when he accidentally broke his teacher’s very long nail.
The teacher in question explained to Chilal that he wouldn’t understand the care it took not to break a long nail unless he did it himself. Chilal must have taken on the challenge.
Shridhar Chillai held the world record for longest nails ever on a single hand, with a length of 909.6 centimetres.
