On an interesting episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg shares why she prefers closer age gaps in relationships. According to her, while she makes the decision based on her mood, it also depends on the individual.
Whoopi Goldberg further went on to elaborate on why she doesn’t do a lot of things with ‘younger folks’ and the sample scenario she shared was just hilarious. Read below:
“Let me tell you why I stopped doing lots of things with younger folks,” she said. “I went out with a younger dude and he said, ‘I can’t believe this.’ I said, ‘What are you talking about?’ He said, ‘I did not know that Paul McCartney had another band.’ And you kind of go, ‘The Beatles? You’ve never heard of The Beatles?’ ‘No!'”

She wrapped it up by saying that it gets tiring when dating younger folks due to the amount of knowledge that needs to be imparted. Goldberg had mentioned in the past of no desire to get entangled in another relationship following three former divorces.
