The Comptroller-General of Customs’ Strike Force, Zone ‘B’ has intercepted contrabands worth about 787 million Naira duty paid value.
The Zonal Coordinator, Deputy Comptroller Oseni Olorukoba, disclosed this while briefing reporters in Katsina, on the achievements recorded by his team between January and March 2021.
The Strike Force Zone ‘B’ Coordinator, however, charged members of the public to look for lawful investable ventures and support the Federal Government’s fight against smuggling, to boost the local economy.
The Comptroller General Customs Strike Force, Zone ‘B’ is saddled with among other things, the responsibility of checkmating smuggling in the entire northern part of the country.
