It appears Daddy Freeze is facing some troubled waters on the homefront as a High Court in Port Harcourt has mandated that the media personality pays the sum of 5 million Naira for having an affair with his current partner while she was yet married to her former husband.
An order of injunction was also filed against Daddy Freeze, preventing him from any access to the children from the marriage until they become adults.
The union between Paul Odekina and Benedicta Elechi was however dissolved due to her act of adultery with Daddy Freeze. Read the judgement in part below:
“The sum of N5,000,000 is awarded against Ifedayo Olarinde (the 2nd Cross Respondent to the Cross Petition) as damages for depriving the Cross Petitioner of the amiable consort of his wife (Petitioner/1st Cross Respondent) and for injury suffered as a result of his adultery with the Petitioner/Cross Respondent.
An Order of injunction is hereby granted, preventing Ifedayo Olarinde ― the Co-Respondent to the Cross Petition ― from having access or dealing whatsoever with the children of the marriage until they attain the age of majority.”
Social Media users have taken the opportunity to make fun of the anti-tithe protagonist who has spearheaded the campaign for Christians to stop paying tithes as it was only in his words enriching pastors. Some have concluded that the renowned OAP is only just paying his tithe in bulk.
