Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo won the governorship election in Anambra State, and Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari congratulated him. Mr. Charles is a candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The President congratulated the security agencies for their commitment to ensuring that the election ran as smoothly as possible, as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for completing the process successfully despite the initial hurdles.
the President also urged him as a member of the President’s Economic Advisory Committee to bring together other stakeholders to address the state’s and the Southeast’s major challenges.
The President expressed his eagerness to work with the new governor to ensure the peace, security, and prosperity of not only Anambra State but the entire country.
