Buhari commends Uzodimma for developmental strides recorded in Imo State

President Muhammadu Buhari has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for the developmental strides recorded by his administration in Imo State.

The President made the remark during his one-day visit to commission some key projects executed by the Governor.

Owerri, the Imo state capital, went agog as the government and people of the state received the number one citizen of the country, President Buhari, who was in the state to commission some significant projects.

Upon arrival via Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, the President proceeded to commission some of the projects lined up for the day.

First was the Naze Ihiagwa poly road and later, the Balloon Technology Drainage Tunnel.

During the commissioning of the Egbeada Amakohia bypass, the President commended Governor Uzodimma for giving the state a face-lift.

For the Governor, his administration will continue to ensure that dividends of democracy are enjoyed by the people of the state, insisting that the government will continue to initiate projects that have a direct impact on the people.

The President later had a closed-door meeting with some southeast stakeholders at the Government House.

Some dignitaries that graced the event were Ebony State Governor, Dave Umahi, Abia State Deputy Governor, Ude Chukwu, the President of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, George Obiozor, among others.
