Beyonce as of today is now the most decorated woman in Grammy history with 28 awards. Beyonce picked up four honours for best R&B performance for Black Parade, the best music video for Brown Skin Girl; as well as best performance & best rap song for Savage with Meghan Thee Stallion, it was Meghan’s first Grammy.
Jay Z and Beyonce’s daughter were not left out as the duo co-won Grammy’s with her on two different honors, Jay Z for co-writing Savage and Blue Ivy for her partin Black Skin Girl. Beyonce appreciated all for the win and shared how proud she was of Blue Ivy.
Nigerian artist, Wizkid also co-won with Beyonce for Brown Skin Girl while Burna Boy won the best album award for Twice As Tall. Tiwa Savage was also not left out for her work in Coldplay’s Everyday song.
This year’s Grammys was one of many wins for women especially as four women also won top prizes including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and H.E.R.
