Residents of Ogbeozoma and Nwanikpa in OKPANAM Community, in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State are groaning under the devastating effect of flood which is washing away the community.
Our asaba correspondent Akpomejero Friday who visited the community reported that the major road linking the community is the worse hit flood.
However, a driving into Ogbeozoma community in OKPANAM seems smooth until we got to the point where the road has been cut off by erosion.
Residential buildings, businesses and even schools were not spared.
It is a common sight for people to access their homes, using makeshift bridges.
Vehicles no long ply the road as Car owners leave their vehicles in the metropolis, while hoping that government will come to their aid and pay attention to the road.
The only school in the community now suffers from low enrolment, as the pupils can no longer access their school.
