President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Abuja from Kenya after successfully participating in the Fifth Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union.
Tinubu who arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport was received by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, Chief Of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma and Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje
Tinubu on Monday departed from Nairobi, where he met with other leaders on the continent last weekend.
President Tinubu was at the AU meeting on Sunday in his capacity as the Chairman of the Authority of the Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Among issues discussed at the AU meeting in Nairobi were deliberations and conclusions reaffirming Africa’s unity and strength, and rejection of a new scramble for Africa.
