Sporting Lagos have emerged as the inaugural champions of the Naija Super 8 after beating Remo Stars on penalties in Sunday’s final at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.
The newly promoted club triumphed 4-2 on penalty shootout after the game had ended 1-1 in regulation time.
For emerging winner, the Lagos-based club was awarded the star prize of N25m while Remo got N9m.
