South Korean evacuees from Sudan have begun departing for home as a South Korean military aircraft evacuated 28 of the country’s citizens from Sudan along with an unspecified number of Japanese nationals, South Korea’s presidential office said.
The footage provided by the South Korean government showed a bus carrying the South Korean citizens arriving at the Port Sudan New International Airport, before they were evacuated by a C-130 military cargo aircraft to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
