As the race for the leadership of the 10th National Assembly continues to gather momentum, a group under the auspices of Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has called on the All Progressives Congress APC to consider Zoning the senate presidency to the Northwest for fairness, equity and justice.
The group mentioned that the zone has contributed to the emergence of the president elect
Speaking at a press conference in Kaduna, the president of the group comrade Isah Abubakar said the Northwest region was not short of experience and competent elected senators who are returning to the National Assembly.
The Northern Youth Council of Nigeria also assured that it would continue to work towards the indivisibility of the country.
