The Benue State Government has constituted a transition committee headed by the Secretary to the State Government, Anthony Ijohor while the Director for Exco Aondover Bartholomew will serve as secretary of the committee.
The constitution was made during the State Executive council meeting at the Government house, Makurdi, the state capital.
While appreciating his party members for not resorting to violence during the elections, Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom urged residents to remain peaceful and law abiding.
