Barca manager Xavi Hernandez said that he is highly motivated ahead of the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final clash against bitter rivals Real Madrid on Thursday (March 2).
Xavi told reporters on Wednesday (March 1) that he would love to be playing at the Bernabeu stadium himself as winning there “was a great feeling”.
Barca’s coach admitted Real Madrid are the favourites, especially after beating Liverpool 5-2 at Anfield in the Champions League.
Barca are top of the la Liga standings on 59 points, seven ahead of second-placed Real Madrid who were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Atletico Madrid last Saturday.
