More protests have continued to trail the just concluded presidential and national assembly elections across the country, with some calling for an outright cancellation.
In Abuja, youths and women under the name “Unite Nigeria” took to the streets condemning the Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting what they called a sham election, thereby breaking the peace accords signed by all the political parties.
They say despite promising a free , fair, credible and technologically-guided elections, the electoral body deliberately tilted the outcome of the election to favour the eventual winner by tampering with the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), as well as allotting votes where elections never held.
