General Elections: Obi Wins Cross River

The Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, has won the presidential election held in Imo State with three hundred and fifty two thousand, nine hundred and four votes.

The returning officer for the state, Charles Esimone, who announced the results on said that Bola Tinubu of the APC scored 66, 171 votes while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party got 30,044.

The returning officer mentioned that the result for Njaba LGA was not collated due to violence.

Obi also won the presidential election in Cross River and Anambra states according to INEC.
