Adamawa: INEC Declares PDP Winner Of Two Senatorial Seats

The candidates of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have been declared winners of Adamawa South and Central Senatorial seats of the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), declared

the speaker of the state house of Assembly Hon Iya Abbas of the PDP as winner of the central Senatorial District polling 145,880 to defeat Senator Abdulaziz Nyako of APC who polled 118,555.

Senator Ishaku Abbo of APC won Adamawa North with 71, 927 to beat PDP’s Reverend Yohanna Amos who polled 61,895 votes.

Meanwhile, the Senator Representing Adamawa South, Binos Dauda Yaroe of the PDP has been declared a winner by INEC.
