PDP’s Atiku Abubakar won all other contestants in Gombe, massively doubling their votes.
Atiku polled 319, 223 votes in the North East state, while his closest challenger, APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu, scored a total of 146, 977 votes
The results of the election released from the 11 local government areas of the State on Sunday night through early Monday morning showed that the PDP candidate polled 319, 223 votes, while his closest rival, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu scored 146, 977 votes.
The Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi, and that of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, came distant third and fourth with 26,160 and 10,520 votes respectively.
